Rediscovering TST - Tipi dream , 2018
The YMCA of Hong Kong's new art space, THE DOOOR, opened in 2018, with its inaugural exhibition, "Tipi Dream," exploring public spaces in Hong Kong. The city lacks areas where people can rest and relax, and it can be challenging for young people to find private spaces. Even in public open spaces, the public furniture is not well-designed for relaxation. The question arises: how can we create a human-centred and practical open space in a crowded environment like Tsim Sha Tsui, where THE DOOOR is located? In collaboration with artist ZLISM (Zoie Lam), we set up a tipi, created a comfortable environment, and enjoyed a good dream in the heart of the city.
